Your guests must know the “password” to get passed the gangster at the door and into the Big Roaring 20’s Speakeasy. Upon entry, participants receive their “purse” for the evening—a pre-determined amount of play money for use in the speakeasy games - blackjack, the big wheel & dice games. Period music fills the air as the gaming lasts about an hour, while guests mingle with dealers, dime dancers and mobsters. Girls sell chewing gum “cigarettes” and “cigars”, while the piano player earns his keep and tries not to get shot.
After awhile, word gets out that the Feds are coming to “bust” the place, the speakeasy characters turn the room into a supper club with live entertainment in a matter of minutes. Dinner is served while guests enjoy the floor show: an authentic mix of vaudevillian comedy and dancing to the music of the era.
If there are prizes provided by the client, participants canuse their “winnings” to bid on items at an auction after the floor show. The evening ends with a big show finale by all the Speakeasy performers!

"...It was just like stepping back in time for an evening of illegal fun and games - staying only one step ahead of the 'feds'. The evening was filled with gangsters, babes, games, and great entertainment!"
- Becky Faulkner, Dir. of Marketing, Peek'n Peak Resort "I would like to thank you very much for a job well done. I don't believe our firm picnic had ever been more livelier or more enjoyed by all." - Bronwyn Hawkins, Quinn Law Firm |
